    Of Metropolitan Statistical Areas in 2003 from the Bureau of Economic Analysis, Bridgeport-Stanford-Norwalk remains first at $60,803 with McAllen-Edinburgh-Misson, TX last at $15,184. US is $31,472.

    The Bureau of Economic Analysis calls them Metropolitan Statistical Areas. The highest, as of 2002, was Bridgeport-Stamford-Norwalk, CT and the lowest was Rio Grande City, TX.
