If i get a virus on my virtual pc will it pass on to my real computer?

    It is possible.

    Some people don't install an anti-virus program on a virtual PC. If you are in this situation (with an up to date anti-virus on your real computer), your real computer will stay protected by it.

    A problem is for instance if your virtual computer and your real computer are in a network, and you share some directories. This could be a possibility to transmit that virus. But your anti-virus program will check it (if it is up to date...and if it is recognized...)
