    fish on

fish at night in about 12feet of water, use a depth finder once the depth finder hits bottom crank the reel around two times and set the pin in the reel. That will be the depth you want to start with after awhile you can change the depth either up or down. Use minnows (small ones) fish are not that hungry in the winter, use a glow in the dark tear drop lure. the ones that are white with a red, yellow or orange dot on it. go for a #10 lure. glow the lure next to your lantern. you can bait the minnow either in the mouth (both lips) or just below the top fin, careful you dont hook it to far below the fin you could kill the minnow. Put the minnow in the hole let it sink by itself and watch the spring bobber for action after a while you willl figure out a real hit. If nothing else take a 12 pack with you, fish drink and have fun. The ice should be perfert to fish now.
