all of the above.

Young Lady is better. But not in a threatening way. Like when my mom calls me "Young lady" I know I'm in trouble. Lol
-
I am all woman and that is what I liked to be called. I am sort of a tom boy so lady does not apply LOL
-
Well, I'm only 14, so being called a woman would be awkward..."Lady" doesn't fit me very well. I'm definitely not very ladylike (for example, I trip over everything, I don't wear makeup and hardly ever wear skirts, and I think I would rather die than be stuck playing cricket or tennis). So I guess that just leaves "girl", but when I hear "girl", I think of a female under, like, 9 years old. Out of the choices, I guess I'd prefer to be called a lady (although I don't fit the description) but I'd like to be called by name. Either that or "that hot girl in 1st period math". hehe
-
Lady or woman, never girl
-
MISTER.
-
Woman
-
Sir, Mister.
-
LoL well i work in a supermarket and the customers always say "hand that to the LADY" it always puts a little smile on my face :)
-
I do know that Female Police Officers don't like being called "Girly"
-
when i worked in texas, the kids called me maam. that was weird, as i was australian and it made me feel really old.
-
Girl or woman .. I dont really care but lady seems wierd.. I`m not much of a lady ..
-
I tend to think of myself as a girl, but out of the three I'd probably prefer other people to describe me as either a woman or female. Curiously enough I don't really like being called a lady unless they actually mean "lady" as a way of expressing that I am refined, well-mannered and impeccably dressed (which I am, of course) There's something about the use of "lady" and "gentleman" as a direct replacement for "man" and "woman" that I don't really like- I guess it sounds a bit too much like a euphemism.
-
How about "Yo!" ?
-
Well I am no longer a girl. Haven't been for a loooooooong time. Although I am a woman I prefer the term lady because it signifies respect and dignity. When someone calls me lady I hold my chin just a little bit higher.
-
well, since my junior-mid-life-crisis has hit, I've taken to referring to myself as a chick. ;-) But ultimately, I think woman is the best fit, coming from a teen or adult. Coming from a child, either lady or woman. For some reason, I refer to women as ladies when talking to my sons, as in "that nice lady," but don't really use it myself because it sounds childlike. And I don't like to use the word girl to refer to an adult, although I'll admit it is a hard cultural habit to break.
-
I prefer to be called a woman or a lady. I'm 39,so the term "girl" really doesn't apply to me I don't think. ;)
-
Don't call me Ma'm. Personally, I like female best. If you will be addressing me, I would like Wendy or Mrs. H If you want to be funny you can call me "babe", "chickie", "darling", "sweetie", "sweetheart", "honey", "sugar".
-
I prefer to be called a women, because I believe that a woman represents maturity in her behavior, and is an example to the young ladies. She is very modest and is definitely a Proverbs 31 woman.
-
I don't mind any of the three, although "lady" usually is said to me out of anger. Like "look lady your a freak" or something.
-
I'm a lady!
-
All of them but depending on my age i dont want to be called a girl unless you are classifying my gender. None of those names are annoying names most girls dont like to be called, Chicks, Babes, or any other pet names.
-
a man. i would hate for people to call me a girl
-
Well, since I am now known now as Alex's mom, Patrick's mom, Freddy's wife, and Jere and Susan's daughter, any of them would be fine. As long as you don't call me ma'am. I'm not old enough to be called that yet. I actually would prefer to be called by my first name.
-
woman. Or lady. Or sweetie. Depends who says it and why.
-
I Feel most comfortable with Woman!
-
I hate being called lady. for example "that lady just told me". i feel like telling them im too young to be a lady, but why bother. ive been mistaken for 18 and 25 before and there was always a huge deal about how i dont look my age. woman is just as bad. i like being a girl.
-
A N Y T H I N G BUT MA'AM! [OK- not b*tch, either!]
-
i dont really care i dont find any of them insulting so take your pick LOL
-
well I would prefer to be called by my real name ;)but lady wouldn't be bad
-
..WOMAN...
-
I hate being called a woman or lady. I don't feel old enough to be called that yet, or something. But for some reason if an older person calls me a girl, I feel like they are referring to me and my age group as a naiivety kind of thing. If peers call me a girl, then it's cool. I prefer that older people call me a young woman (young lady sounds like you are bing lectured). I am picky...
-
woman, lady, miss and one day mrs.....
-
ye to eda hai.
-
lady never girl.
-
Woman or young woman (person would also suffice)
-
Just 'Gonzo' is sufficient
-
I like to be called a Lady
-
I prefer to be called a woman. A girl is a child, and a lady has a social connotation that includes concepts I find repugnant.
-
I haven't been a girl for quite some time, and like AR, I have a problem with 'lady' as it's intended to describe behavior rather than anything else (unless it's used as a title, as in LadyFuscia, lol). I also do not favor 'chick', 'gal', 'doll', 'b*tch', 'broad', or 'wench' (thanks Stableboy). I am all woman and proud of it!
-
If those are my only choices, I have a bit of a problem.
-
Chick (smart chick, preferably); or Broad (old broad, preferrably).
-
I'd like to be referred to as a woman. In certain, more playful situations, "girl" is ok...but only if it's used in place of one of the more widely accepted terms of endearment (ex: "Damn, girl!").
-
When you talk to people from the South on a faily basis, you get used to being called "girl" constantly. :) But lady is what I would prefer if on a formal basis. "Woman"...as in if someone called you like "Hey woman!"...then, uhm...NO.
-
woman im not all fancy and im not 12
-
i prefer girl. it doesn't sound old and it doesn't sound formal. i personally like "skirt" i think it's funny.
-
I prefer being called a lady. I feels a bit more respectful than girl or woman. It seems that down south, most people you don't know usually call woman "Lady"
-
Well, depends on who is doing the calling doesn't it. I ansswer to all sorts of names and some don't bear repeating. I am female I am a woman I am a girl I am a lady I am a tom boy I am a mother I am a daughter I am a best friend I am a wife I am a lover I am a bitch I am an enemy I am lots of people all with different names On the whole I would prefer to be called a lady, but I am happy to be called a girl or a woman after all I am
-
WOMAN
-
Mister or Sir
-
Young lady. I am 14 I don't consider or think of myself as a child regardless of what anybody else says and it has nothing to do with "trying to be grown" as people like to say. I have a mind and am able to tell left from right, and right from wrong though I do like using my age and place as an excuse.
-
Woman sounds strangley alarming, like when I think of It I hear some hooker/exotic dancer giving some guy a lap dace a saying "i'm ALL woman". girl sounds so... immature. so I think I'd go with Lady. Not in the sense of like "hey lady", more in the sense of "good evening my Lady". It's sounds so proper, or statley or something...
-
I like lady!
-
Young Man. haha
-
i would like to be called a lady.
-
I don't care, but I wish there was a comparable term for "guy." "Gal" doesn't work.
-
I;m a male!!!!!!!
-
woman or even better, lady. Girl, well, at my age that is just disrespectful.
-
A girl. I shudder at the thought of being called a 'woman' or 'lady'.
-
lady, girl is immature while woman is just too formal
-
i would prefer female i guess it would very formal like on a police report... middle-aged, caucasian, female
-
I am women, I prefer to be called by my name. Different names as to who is speaking to me. My students call me Ms..., my daughters friends call me Mrs ........., and my friends call me by my name,...
-
how about MRS SEXY THANG !!! Hhaahah
-
I am woman, hear me roar! LOL! I'm a little too old to be a "girl" anyway....
-
a lady
-
aheem aheem even though i am ONLY 23 but still i want to hear "hey sweet girl" :$ lol
-
Whatever you want to call me. I've been called all.
-
'Woman' is a very impersonal, overused word. I don't know how it even appeared in the world's most beautiful language. just the combination of 'w' and 'o' in the sound of 'ooo' makes it so ugly and unattractive, I personally feel fat and clumsy when somebody calls me like this, so i always stop them. Also, it's a bit strange that in Britain it so common. Even if you're 20-25 you are 'woman' just like 40 or 60-yera olds, I find it offensive. You just can't generalise people that much. Any female under 30 is a girl or a young lady, not a 'woman'.
-
I feel pretty when someone calls me a lady.
-
I like being called girl. Lady or woman when joking around or refering to me when talking to someone else.
-
I don't mind being called any of those... its all the same to me.
-
i think it is, and it's not just my opinion.
-
This is for SAKHALIN ISST MODISCHEN HOSEN - English IS the world's most beautiful language and it's not just my opinion.
-
Woman or girl.
-
Or how about...person.
-
Woman (but it doesn't really matter to me)
-
I'm only 19, so I prefer babygirl....but that's just me! I'm sure that the older I get, I'll prefer woman but for now....don't make feel older than I am!! I want to enjoy my youth!
-
I'm a lady, don't dare call "Mam" "Sweetie" or "Ho" lol
-
A girl. I am a girl. I don't mind woman. But I'm only called that in a joking way, or when somebody's being sarcastic. As for lady...aha. Never been called that before. It'd make me feel...old.
-
Woman or girl. I dont mind girl but I happen to be a woman. ;)~
-
Women i just turned 18 about 6 months ago and still love the feeling a sofistication it brings to me lol
-
I prefer "Your Highness",but "lady" will work in a pinch.
-
