  • You've got 5 numbers, 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10. 2-10 is the range; the very lowest to the very highest number. Add all the numbers you have in your data together and divide them by the amount of numbers you have and you have found the mean. Eg: 2+4+6+8+10 divided by the amount of numbers you have (here it is 5) is the mean. So that's 6. Mode is the number that shows up the most in your set of numbers. Here there is no mode, but if there were two 8's for example, the mode would be 8. A median is the very middle number. Here it is 6.
