Question

I've had a couple of dreams where I'm tired. Almost to where I'm so tired, my eyelids are slowly closing and I can't see, but I get aggravated because I want to witness the dream. Has this happened to anyone else and what do you think it means?

That happens to me too. It's so frustrating! I have no idea what it means... I just wish it wouldn't happen.

Yes! In many of my dreams I find it very hard to see, and also experience tiredness. For me, the vision issues may just be the fact that I wear glasses...but as far as what you're describing, I'd say your dream was addressing some sort of issue that you've been passively observing. You may feel that you want to be more actively involved, or are feeling frustrated at your inability to do so. Does that make sense?

I fall asleep and pass out in my dreams, so I know how it feels, but I'm not sure what it means.

That can happen between the alpha state and REM. In otherwords you are not quite asleep yet not awake. So your brain plays tricks on you. Those are very harmless dreams, but they do happen. Try and get a full 8 hours, and you might sleep deeper.
