Avatar Anonymous Jan, 18 2007 at 01:44 PM

Certainly not! I've been jumped so many times when I'm out by myself its not even funny! I'm almost to the point of walking down the street with my back to a wall!
Avatar Andy-B Jan, 01 2007 at 07:56 PM
When ever i'm alone walking...I listen...thats how I can tell if someone is behind me...but that would only really work at night...or a really quiet day...but i'm just paranoid..haha
Avatar Miyaku Jan, 01 2007 at 08:01 PM
I'm paranoid too! But I think that part of my paranoia comes from my odd obsession with the paranormal! any way I try to listen when I'm by myself. I live back in the woods so its easy to hear if someone is comming!

oops, forgot to render your request to splain. ....>clearing throat and preceeding into a Capt Morgan Stance<....Stagnaphobia occurs at the onset of the "place set" phynomina....this baffling sceintifically proven thingy shows that once a thingy any thingy will do, stops moving, ceases movement, and/or becomes frozon solid or dead. The brain begins to weave a little triange blanket make from itcy wool which fibers dig into the tempral and lybodic lobes and/or sections, metimorphisizing it into something unrecognizable from the owner. Of the brain that is. The cold cut, potato, furry creek water...;+

I'm not sure why but I'm afraid to be alone with teachers. One time in sixth grade, my social studies teacher was talking to me about a report that I did and I was afraid to have eye contact with him and stuff.
Another one is falling in love and commiting because I don't want to go through the pain and breaking up.

I don't think there is a scientific name for it, but if I can't move my fingers seperately from one another then I get really really freaked.

I cried one time because I was sleeping and my brother taped my fingers on both hands together...

It was terrible.

Styrafoam and Zombies. The sound styrafoam makes freaks me out, and I have recurring nightmares about zombies.

Styrafoam on styrafoam is the worst sound ever. The unfinished kind - that comes in toys? Yech.
Avatar alayla Feb, 03 2009 at 11:24 AM

Bedspreads at hotels. I pull them off and put them into the corner. I'm guessing they don't wash those very often...and I'll bet there are all kinds of things on them I can't deal with.

I used to work in a Disney Resort - they don't wash them often, if ever. A large part of the reason that most hotels have such "busy" bedspreads is because they don't stain easily. What would really freak you out would be knowing how often - or not - they change the bed sheets.
Avatar alayla Feb, 03 2009 at 11:26 AM
Ew, I hate hotel bedspreads...I pull them off right away too. Who knows what's on those things!

I am actually afraid to swim in the ocean. Might have to do with the movie jaws back in the 70's, but I simply cannot do it.

I live on the Gulf. I hate to get in the water (although I do-it's just too hot to not get in at all!). But I have many military friends that say when they are (test) flying above the gulf that they can see quite a lot of sharks swimming rather close to people in the water. A few years ago, a kid in Perdido (near me) had his arm bitten off! And my son just loves the water (just like his father)! It just scares the HECK outta me!

I'm terrified of alleyways because the sight of them has a strong link to being attacked at night.

My sister is terrified of clingfilm!! Seriously! She makes us peel it off bowls and things cause she can't bear to touch it.

I hate alleyways too, if I'm walking alone I run past them because I'm afraid someone's going to jump out and attack me.
I'm sorry, but the clingfilm thing is kind of funny lol.
