  • I had a similar issue with my 95 tahoe where it cranked and seemed to get fuel as well but would not start. It turned out being a cap and rotor issue as well as new plugs and wires. Your issue sounds slightly different but if might be something very simple like a fuse or relay if you've done all the big work like pumps, etc.
  • Are the injectors clogged? Are they getting signal?
  • Take the ignition module out of the distributor and have it checked. If it is fine you probably have a bad pick-up coil in the distributor.
  • I'm not a professional mechanic but I belive there is a fuel pressure regulator that is driven by vaccum from the emmisions system. You could have a vacuum leak or bad fuel pressure regulator. Good luck.
  • i had same issue when i bought a new creat motor for my 93 chevy just put it in and got nothing had to replace the complete wiring harness
  • in 1993 the ignition module runs the fuel injectors, if you replace the ignition module mise well replace the pickup coil. the pickup is connected to the ignition module. you need to take the distributor out and take it apart to get to it.
  • First thing change the fuel pump relay it on the firewall near the passenger side. And also the oil pressure switch witch controls the oil gauge also has a fail safe mode that turns off the power to the fuel pump.
  • Are you getting fire. check the ignition module, any auto zone or advance auto parts will have the proper way to load test it.
