Help answer this question below.

What should you do when on a scale from 1 - 10, 10 being the highest of pain... I'm at a 9.5. I have fibroids and ovarian cysts and the Dr says it's normal and there's nothing they can do. I find this insane and should be treated! What is your opinion?

    Most ovarian cysts are benign. They're fluid filled sacs you can get in your ovaries and can be as small as a pea or as big as an orange. You shouldn't have much trouble if yours are smallish, they often go away on their own, but if they're large you may get pain or heavier periods. An ultrasound scan will confirm how big they are and if they're causing you pain they can be removed surgically. In extreme cases your ovary may need to be removed too.

    I would have extensive blood tests. Cysts can be caused by hormone disorders and the pain too. I would get to a doctor as soon as possible and have those tests done immediately.

    I have a friend who had fibroid tumors, really messed up periods like hemmhoraging and a great deal of pain, started taking Evening Primrose. It took quite a few months, but it was a total cure-all for her! She might have also been taking other natural health products, but she raves about Evening Primrose. If you want, I will check with her on it...

    To me, that's TOTALLY NOT OKAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Those issues need to be taken care of, especially if you're having pain!! Where do you live?? There's a phenominal specialist in Northern California who sees patients from all over the US and from outside the country. He's fantastic and all he does is figures out female pelvic problems. He's a gyno.

    All your tests can show up normal and you can still have pain, YES. Endometriosis will NOT show up on any test! They have to go in and look for it in order to find it. What's your insurance like? Would you be able to afford to travel to CA? I'm telling you, if he can't heal you and figure it all out, then he'll send you to someone who can. I'll keep my eyes on this post...send me your e-mail address in a post if you'd like and I can give you his info. Or can you do private messages through here? I'm new -sorry!!!!
    But, let me just say - you SHOULD NOT just live with this. NO NO NO NOOOOOOOOOOOO WAY!!!!!!!!!!

    I have been to my regular Dr & a Gyn. I had an MRI & an ultrasound done and still no results other than that they told me what they found.. Saying it's normal but with no treatment. But is it normal to have this much pain along with the other crap with it?
