An appropriate name will probably be "loud"

Any name is good hon, you can even give it a human name.

Since they are sometimes hard to sex do it like this. Give it a unisex name like Casey or Lindsay.

The spelling doesn't matter as much as pronouncing it the same. The bird will need the same name so it knows its name and responds to it, but the bird can't read. So if you don't know the sex, I'd give it a unisex name.

There's no good name! Choose one easy to pronounce with a gentle sound & rythm, and one the parrot can't confound with another word.

My grey is named Rusty Shackleford (after Dale Gribble's alias from "King of the Hill"). He can't pronounce the whole thing, but it's funny when he tries. :)

Elliot. I have a Grey with this name. We originally named her this before genetic testing told us she is female, but I thought it was good for either gender.

Coco is the best name for birds in general as its pronounce is much easier than other names on the bird tongue, my african grey name is coco too, and he trained to say his name in almost one week when i asked what is your name :)

ours is named tacomba. He actually came from africa. (back when it was legal) We thought an african name would be appropiate. Just find a word or phrase that suits him/her and translate it. just an idea. Tacomba means from over water.
