  • You don't get hungry very soon after. And didn't you see "Dances with Wolves"? What was the first thing they did after killing a buffalo? They cut out its heart and ate it...raw. Of course, this was their way of taking on the buffalo's brave heart and strength. But, it was an ancient practice. If they thought it would make them sick, they would not continue the practice. The Plains Indians did many things that would make "health workers" today shudder. (lol). And the heart was not the only part of the animal they ate raw....Do you really want to know? (wink) No, I didn't think so.

  • If you are careful and especially if you butcher the meat yourself or know the source, not much danger. If it hasn't been stored properly or if it's gotten contaminated during it's processing or raised in filthy quarters it can harbor disease and harmful bacteria can make you ill, diarrhea, or E. coli.
  • Sometimes I encounter some really lean ground beef, I can't help but grab a chunk throw on a little salt and pepper and pop it in my mouth. And good or prime rib-eye, same story.

  • Well...for starters, you might get the following: Salmonella, Colic, e-coli bacterium, or worse you might get tape worms into your stomach w/c is really nasty! do yourself a favor by really cooking the meat well by either frying it or boiling it with water.NEVER in any circumstance eat raw meat...it's really not good for you! You really wanna eat something raw but extremely good for you!?, try eating fruits & vegetable salads and raw nuts for these items are well recommended study after study from nutritionists worldwide.
