Do you run for the hand sanitizer after you shake someone's hand?

• Theres hand sanitizer Everywhere in my job, Bosses are germphobes lol. I also carry a mini sanitizer on my keychain.

• All you are doing is adding to the problem with super bugs. Hand sanitizers are nothing more than a novelty.

• The bacteria that you do not kill or try to kill will merely mutate to be nonresponsive to the killing agents in the sanitizer. Thusly they will become what are known as super bugs. It has happened all ready because of the overusage of antibiotics and they are having trouble finding something to kill some germs. The human body if left to its own will develop antibodies for germs that try to invade the human body so if left well enough alone the body will take care of itself.

• It is like a person who goes into a grocery store and takes a hand santizier and wipes the handle of the basket. The they will spend an hour or so shopping and touching differnet surfaces and coming in contact with untold number of germs. The they will handle money that who knows has handled it before them. You can see the lunacy of using hand wipes.

• Yes I see, I guess people do it for comfort, but since you broke it down for me. It really doesnt make any sense, I'll just use regular soap and water when I have the chance.

• Exactly! Too many people in this day and age freak out when their child picks up a clump of dirt and sticks it in their mouths. It will not kill them and the boiess defenses will rise to the ocassion to fight any problems and the next encounter the child has with those germs the defensive mechanisms are already in place. I played in so many cow patties and dirt ditches and scummy ponds as a child I should be indifferent to any germ.

• Yeah and I live in NYC With all the germs in the subway stations, escalators,elevators, etc, I should be dead, But you're right. you know it's sooo funny that we're chatting about this, my mini keychain hand sanitizer actually fell off and landed in the middle of the street. maybe thats a sign lol :)

• Maybe. I have been to NYC a nice place to visit but I do not think I could live there. I use an expresion all the time that I would rather clean out the commodes in the Greyhound Bus Station in NYc that do that meaning some other chore.
