What was the question again? Or is that just a statement? Am I supposed to refer to a tab somewhere? :)
-
I do actually. I suppose the asker assumes that we all know what their last question prior to that was. We can look it up, but it's best if questions can stand on their own. New users don't always understand how the comments work. I think that is part of the problem. It's in everyone's best interest to ask questions that do not require the people answering to look up the history of why the question was asked.

I understand that those users really need help, or just want someone to talk. And they don't want to have to explain the whole situation from the beginning. Posting comments would only be seen by the people on the specific comment thread, so it is not always the best thing. I would suggest giving a link attached to the question or inside the comment threads where what has already happened. What annoys me a little is when I am supposed to have read a lot of previous questions and answers to participate. A little summary would be fine, and could be given by the asker in an own answer to their question. The reference would then only be there for people who want to explore the history of the question.

I don't hate anything. I maybe new, but I'm sure there's more questions if you decide you don't like this or that, why fuss over the little stuff?
