Why are diamonds so precious to the woman?

    Well i like diamonds but i don't think EVERY woman does .we all have our own personal opinions about what we like and don't like ..some woman like shoes .some like flowers .but i think diamonds are the most precious when they come along with a 5 word question from someone we love! :)

    As someone who sold diamonds for a time, I found there were three reasons that kept coming up time and again.

    One was because buying a diamond represented getting married, and they were so thrilled to be experiencing this special time in their life with the man they were in love with and looking forward to spending the rest of their lives with.

    Another reason was because of the commitment their fiance was making financially, usually spending around 3 months of his salary towards the purchase of a trinket that showed how much he cared for her, and was willing to give to her. It was a symbol that all her friends would see which indicated without saying a word how much he cared for her simply according to the size of the stone and the design of the setting it was placed in.

    The last reason was simply because of how much the diamonds sparkled. They're pretty. And if you ever go into a jewelry store and look at some diamonds, you'll notice just how incredibly sparkly they are there in the store. The reason is because of the lighting used in jewelry stores, halogen lamps, which are used specifically for their ability to make diamonds sparkle like this. If a jewelry store has halogen lamps nowhere else in the store, you can be sure they will have them over the jewelry cases.

    And those are the reasons that I saw on a regular basis that diamonds are so precious to women...! ;-)

    for me it's not the diamond it's the thought and person behind it. I don't mind fake stones. I just like that whoever got it thought of me :)

    i would love to have one, im buying a diamond ring for myself maybe for Christmas or birthday next year 'cause they sparkle really pretty i want one. that's for me though... i don't know other ladies it depends how you're trying to get it or from who and the meaning that has or gets when you get it.
