With the idea of what age is considered an adult yes I think it should be lowered. The reason it isn't I would guess, is from the amount of alcohol served at these places.

Yes. If you're old enough to be charged as an adult, you are old enough to gamble.

If Nevada lowers the legal gambling age to 18. Who's going to do all the grunt work and pay their own way through college in order to become successful?

You know, Ed. I think if we can ask our 18 year olds to put their lives on the line for us in the military, I think they should be able to both drink and gamble if they choose to do so.

They might as well. This country tried to stop people from drinking liquor but that like the gambling is already a never ending battle that the government lost decades ago.

The real issue is the alchohal there because they serve SO much booze.

So they keep it 21 so they're safe from law suits regarding underage drinkers.

But I think that they should lower the alchohal age to 18 like others have said because you can be sentenced to life in prison like an adult, you can vote like an adult...I just can't drink?

Yes, I think so since at 18 you can:

    *vote
    *smoke
    *view pornography
    *join the army

I don't know what the gambling age is in Nevada. But I think you should have to be legal drinking age to go into casinos because they give away alcoholic drinks.
