2000 Taurus occasionally fails to catch; only cranks. Spark good during episode...Fuel pump hums momentarily during episode as well. Can happen when at room temp then start just fine an hr later at say 40 deg. temp. Pump runs silently, usually a good sign

try replacing your fuel filter, then have your injectors cleaned or checked. maybe the air filter as well.

My car cranks but does not want to turn over in the morning, once it starts I can run errands all day with no problem. It did this last winter and I ended up replacing the starter, it was fine all summer and fall until the over night temp was 40 or less.

My 1995 S-10 Blazer will crank but not start. Just replaced the fuel pump and filter and check to make sure it was getting a spark. I also checked the gas pressure and it was normal. What else could it be.
