If your ex wife goes in to a nursing hoe you may also want to give her something in addition to the alimony... compassion.
You can not be serious to worry about money. You should be giving her more then that..how about a heart.
It depends on what the divorce agreement states. If there is no exclusion for nursing home, then you probably still pay.

The thing is, the nursing home would probably get the money. They ain't cheap, you know.
However, there seems to be a major problem with this question. You're looking for a way to NOT pay alimony, when your ex-wife is obviously having health issues.
I can't imagine the callousness of this situation.
You still must pay although,
She does not get it...the nursing home does!!!
Remember alimony is one of the few things that are still Tax Deductible
my husband and i are still married we live in ny sadly, we have a daughter who will be 20 soon(rest will be in next post of story.)
