    Cassey Kasem was the 1970 voice of a top 40 countdown and also the voice of Shaggy on Scooby Doo on TV.

    Oh, gosh...how far do you want to go back, Doggie S? Even I can rememember Jack Benny, George Burns and Gracie Allen, George Goble, Amos and Andy and so many others on radio...then seeing them on TV in the fifties. Jack Webb and "Dragnet" was a favorite on radio. Eve Ardin was "Our Miss Brooks" on radio as well....Other shows were Arther Godfrey's "Breakfast Hour", Art Linkletter, Paul Harvey, Edward R. Murrow, and Walter Cronkite News.

    It's normally the other way around, i know of some Australians Dr Sally Feelgood, Merrick and Rosso, Stan Zemanick (Beauty and the Beast)
