Help answer this question below.

56' 223 Inline Six. Runs fair to good in 1st and 2nd, when I put it into 3rd it bogs down, barely runs and I have to down shift back into 2nd. So I cant get over 35 MPH. Has new fuel pump, plugs, wires, cap & rotor, carbs rebuilt. ANY ideas will help.

    If it reving high in third and not picking up speed look at the clutch. If that is okay look at compression. Mr Bill
