LOLOL yes. I used this very analogy in a graduation speech last May. Don't always take the easy route: that's what rivers do, and that's why they end up so crooked.

Nice turn of phrase. Not necessarily. Oriental philosophy goes with bending so you don't break. It tries to detach itself from outcomes..it accepts that which is..goes with the flow..believes in the yin and yang of life equally. Western philosophy finds it very difficult to understand that mode of thought.:) ((hugs))
