Opening Hotmail not happening. I can sign in - then goes to total white screen, status bar is green all the way across - won't open. Have to close window, message shows " site not responding". Cookies are enabled; all other sites work. Any help?

Assuming all other sites are working, then you must have either some setting in your browser which conflicts or some software even a temp file blocking access. Try the following... go to www.ccleaner.com and download ccleaner which is a free cleanup program. Follow the download path from filehippo.com so you do not need to purchase anything. Click all the boxes under advanced and run the registry clean portion as well. Now see whether you can access hotmail. If you still cannot, click internet tools in IE, and reset to default settings by clicking the default tab. If you still cannot, download firefox 3 by doing a search for it. I have a feeling that you will be accessing hotmail with no trouble once you do that.
