Help answer this question below.

If you witnessed a murder and the murderer told you he would kill you if you told anyone. Would you tell someone or would you just keep your mouth shut?

    I would inform the proper authroties. If he kills me at least I will die knowing that I did the right thing even in the face of death.

    AussieMan, you are fascinated with the subject of death and killing. Of course, I would report the murder and then they would have to put me in the Jehovah's Witness Relocation Program.

    Then again, he just killed one person, unless he broke his knife or ran out of bullets what prevents him from eliminating the witness?

    I'd tell and get protection from the FBI or the police. There are programs where they relocate you, give you a new identity, a new life, etc.

    You go to the police and tell them about the murder and then ask for protection. Or you suffer in silence for the rest of your life wondering if you should have gone to the police; and you constantly look over your shoulder for the rest of your life wondering if the murder has come back to tie up loose ends and get rid of the witness (you).

    After assuring the murderer that I would never tell anybody, I would go straight to the Police. Otherwise, I would be as guilty as he. Plus the fact that if the murderer became paranoid he might decide to come and kill me too. Besides if you have killed one person, surely it's easier the second time.

    If the murder is the reasonable guy like you portrayed, offering a trade, blackmail him for some cash, then tell on him, then hide :)
