Survival gear, and shovels have more than one use.

First Aid kit, two emergency warning triangles (compulsory), reflective poncho (also compulsory) and two tie-down straps for my sailboard.

I have a little cooker, some plates, forks, knives etc, a couple of folding chairs, a small picnic table, a rug, a couple of tins of soup, and other cooking utensils. I also have spare oil, petrol, a warning emergency triangle, a fire extinguisher and some German and Dutch car flags, which I keep there in case of some emergency football match *LOL*
Hmmm, a jug of 5W30 and a funnel because my car has a constant slow leak, the side-covers for my convertible when the top is down because I have nowhere else to put them, and also a jug of antifreeze... I have to get a winterize kit in there sometime soon LoL
Empty cans... trash I find in my car that I think I *might* end up needing :)
A tv I stole from work... I have no place to put it but now I don't have to worry about going to someone's house that's hogging the TV to play Madden :P
