Who else is upset about the death of Michael Crichton?

I am - nearly broke down in tears this morning. He wrote the first real "grown up" book I ever read (Congo) and I loved Andromeda Strain so much I was excited to give it to my 13 year old last week to start reading (he loves it, too). I read a lot of his books, loved "ER" when he was heavily involved, and have very much admired all of his work.

I was saddened. He had talent. Andromeda Strain and ER are his bookends for me.
