How many Stanley Cups has Scotty Bowman won as a player and as a coach?

    He won none as a player, and indeed, never played at the highest level. Bowman was playing junior hockey for the Montreal Royals, in the Canadiens' system on March 7, 1951 when, during a skirmish on the ice, Scotty was smashed over the head by a stick. He was seriously injured and this ended his playing career.
