Question

Help answer this question below.

Since I'm new to AB, what is this "troll" I keep hearing about and what is the deal about stealing points by applying negative comments to another person's answers? Don't know if that is happening but I see the comments from others.-- Thanks

Trolls are people who rate people down, usually on mass, for no particular reason other than to be a pain in the arse. Usually they leave no comment, and are just annoying. There is an Anti-Troll club which reports this pain in the arse behaviour and rate people up again (to which I am a member). I have my own personal troll. Delightful chap who follows me round and rates everything -2. I've called him Nigel, and I'm thinking of getting him a badge for his efforts
