Two weeks, I had the flu, but it caused an infection that caused pneumonia

when I had major surgery I was in bed for about 6 weeks getting up only to use the bathroom and eat and back to back. With the flu/bronchitis, 4 days.

I hurt my back..I was immobilized and couldn't even lift my head off the pillow. That was for two weeks..the longest two weeks of my life. My mom lived with us thankfully..so it was just the same as if I were in a hospital. She'd put a tray on my chest and I'd eat that way..coffee was very tricky..I had a flexible straw but I still spilled it or it dribbled down my chin. :)

Dude, I got whats known as the kissing disease ( I don't remember the correct term ) and was under family induced bed arrest for I think one week. I think I had something else too, but it SUCKED. Twenty-four hours a day, for an entire week nothing but readin books. I love reading books, but when you can do nothing else, and the books they give you are the ones you've already read several times... Screw that !!

three days when I was down with fever last year.(with two kids on if you are totally incapacitated can you stay in bed)

I was in bed last year for about 3 days. I couldn't even lift my head. I had such a bad ear infection it looked like a cone was coming out the side of my head. OUCH!!

As a very young adult I caught mono and laid up in bed for over a month, I had no medical benefits so I just got worse. Years later I almost died from chicken pox, went into respatory failure after several weeks of being bed ridden.
