  • Yes, it bothered me.
  • No, it doesn't matter if its similar or not, its the MEANING of the words he is speaking.
  • Why would it bother you that President-elect Obama phrased his speech to pay homage to one of many who sacrificed so much to enable him to be President of the United States? You people kill me. One of the greatest nights in American history and the only thing you can do is find something to bitch about. Incredible.
  • I'm sure Martin Luther King would pat Obama on the back and congratulate him, speech and all. He'd be honoured his work and words helped a black person become President of the USA, something many people never imagined would ever happen, let alone in 2008. CONGRATS AMERICA!!
  • Yes, it did, and so did images like this one. Although I supported and voted for Obama, he is not Dr. Martin Luther King, and comparing them isn't fair to the memory of him. One day it might be, but for now Obama has proven he deserves a chance, but time will only tell if he deserves that honor.
  • No one is going to forget Dr.King or his speech. You are making a mountain out of a molehill totally. I didn't even notice it if it happened at all. And how EXACTLY do you copy a FLOW? I'm pretty sure that doesn't fall under plagiarism or lessen the speech to use a style someone else has used. Besides, I think it it a very nice throwback and I think Dr.King would be QUITE joyous today, AND would be honored to have his "flow" be part of it.
  • Not one little bit. If ever there was a man who would rejoice in this it would be Dr. Martin Luther King. To evoke his memory, in any way, is an honor that Dr. Martin Luther King certainly deserved tonight.
