Nope they will still play it

I don't have an answer for you, but I think this is an excellent question, and deserves some rational discussion.
-
They should, but probably won't.

Not a chance..the race card is profitable..Pisses me off that the black leaders(Not all of them) are keeping this going..They're supposed to be helping..not keeping this stuff alive and well. :)
-
Yeah im black and I doubt anyone quits playing any card. Atleast some people not all. The reality is not only blacks but most of society is full of people who cry and complain. However some people have lives were the complaining is understandable but people by nature are complainers most. You can argue with me if one race complains more then another and all that but think about it where the only country where Star athletes would complain about having millions of dollars, or CEO's complain about making 44 million instead of 45 million. So I doubt it some people will always give you an explantion to why they can't achieve goals and some people will tell you how they overcame those obstacles.

And you get to play the white card again??
-
In life you play the cards that are delt. So as it was and so as it still is.
-
The sad thing about the 'race card' is that here is the US, admittedly the most progressive and powerful nation in the world, yet, it elects its first black president in 2008 and no women yet. That is something to be proud of and progress, eh?
-
Just because there is a black president doens't mean that racism doesn't still exist. Also, the term "playing the race card" is a term used to silence those who speak out about injustice. If you hear anyone use this, it's a clear sign that they aren't education...at least about history and race relations.

Well, some won't stop. I have the perfect defense though in case anyone calls me racist for some reason. I'll just say "How can I be racist when I voted for Obama?"
