Why is New Hampshire a red state when it's surrounded by blue states? Why is the ideology so different there?

Actually, they are expecting NH to go Democratic. NH is one of the poorest states in the union and is divided north/south by the rich and the poor. It also has a large population of people who live in NH as a suburb of Boston. Basically it's different because the population of the state is different.
