Question

Help answer this question below.

I bought a Ford Windstar and paid $1880.00. I drove it 100 miles, the motor died on the 5th day . The dealer said that was too bad,and since I bought it as is, there was nothing he could do about it. He said I could take $1000.00 or keep the van. HELP

if the van didn't come with any kind of warranty, then you are sort of out of luck. as long as the dealer made absolutely no promises as to how long the vehicle would last, there's not much you can do here, except find out how much it would cost to repair it, take the cheapest route, and cut your losses.

You have an option of taking $1000?????

    Take it and RUN!!!

Yeah...sux it broke insta-like...but bottom line you bought it as-is...and apparently are being offered $1k to make it an $800 loss instead of $1800 or more if you paid ot have it fixed.

    REJOICE, dumbass....take the freaking $1k.

What don't you understand....that life isn't fair? gah.
