  • yes any electric heater you plug in usually costs a lot to run. even hairdryers LOL
  • it differs based on your rate. Look at the bill and find out what you pay per kilowatt hour (kw/h) Look at the unit to see what wattage it uses, and do the math. It's probably significant, I hate to say.
