Some people don’t like people who are tense. What if they’re only tense because they don’t want you to dislike them, so they try to be careful about themselves? Why would you want to give them a self-fulfilling prophecy?

How about Oneirogmophobia ? I used to hate that one when I was a teen.... now, I kinda wish it would happen. It's not really cheating... it's just kinda messy... and yes, women can have it too.

people like that are incredibly shallow if their whole world depends on what other people think of them -so that would be more than enough reason not to like them O.o

Stop worrying about what people think of you and just be yourself. Tenseness is contagious so it is in fact you who are creating the self-fulfilling prophecy. There will always be people who like you and people who don't. Accept this and stop trying to please everyone. Even people who don't take to you at first will grow to like you if you are yourself and at ease with them. "You are a child of the universe - no less than the trees and the stars"
