I am 22 years old and I am dating a 17 year old girl. Even though the legal age of consent here in Indiana is 16, is it morally okay to date her?

You both should be cautious, but not paranoid. If this is her first relationship, and she's mostly interested in you because you're older, that's not good for either of you. If on the other hand she is mature and finds you more compatible with her sensibilities than people her own age, then great!

Sounds OK to me. I dated a 17 yo when I was 24. While it didn't work out, I would likely do it over again just because it taught me a lot about age differences in dating.

So long as you are in the relationship for the right reasons and treat her as you should, there is nothing wrong with it.

If you feel right with each other and it is legal then you shouldn't even be asking random peoples' opinions.

Yes, It is fine...14 year old girls getting married to 30 year old men was the norm a long time ago.

- With one parent's consent, girls of 14 can still marry a man of any age in most if not all States.
  The FLDS Mormons frequently marry girls 13 years old, that is if the man donates enough money to the church so "God" will bless the union...
  That's very much like a church trafficking in teen age girls, in fact it's exactly like that except her parents get none of the money.

Morally ok? I was 17 when my combat orders were cut yet I could NOT legaly have sex ..but I could kill.
