the focus and screen controls are exposed on the back of most rca sets, tune to a channel with lettering and adjust for sharpest picture, try not to move the screen cotrol but if you do switch to the video input and set it so you get a black screen and the scanning lines just vanish
I live in an apartment complex, I own an RCA 42" LCD TV, I believe one of my neighbors' remote control affects my TV. How can I fix this?

I have a RCA tv and the picture is almost squeezed down into like a line in the middle of the screen and the rest is black any ideas?
