Before you sue the doctor make sure you're not at fault. For example, are you sure you took the medications the way they are supposed to be taken, and are you sure you did not abuse them?

How do you know you weren't going to develop diabetes anyway? Most people who get diabetes aren't taking geodon.

Its hardly ever worth it to sue a doctor. If you live for 100 years you will probably never see a penny. Even the folks with way more cause than you are still in their hospital beds, waiting for their settlement. Plus your doctor or pharmacist no doubt mentioned the possible side effects of the drugs to you which leaves them with fairly clean hands. You can probably only get away with suing the pharmacutical company and if you think you're going to get a dime out of that leviathan there'a bridge in Brooklyn I'd like to sell you.

Probably sue your internet provider for letting you post questions like this on Answerbag. Though I must admit, you asking both medical AND legal advice on the same question is probably a first

Those two drugs aren't contraindicated for use together (meaning that using them together did not cause the diabetes).

Geodon can increase your risk of diabetes, did you follow all of the instructions your doctor gave you? Also was there a drug that still would have helped you that does not affect diabetes? If not then I doubt you can sue the doctor. Geodon is an antypsychotic, that doesn't sound like a drug that was optional.

You can sue, but you won't win. It is a side effect of a drug, which you are given information on when you get the Rx filled. If you didn't read the stuff that came with it, and made an uninformed decision about whether or not to take it, it isn't your doctor's fault.

I can recommend a reputable pharmacy (Geodon) http://anytabs.com/order-geodon-online-en.html/?a=7093 I received the order and it was on time and the pills work great.
