what's "thy is rich who owe nothing"?
sounds like something from a crazy Shakespeare play :P
You can make some purchases with credit, and if you pay it off in one year, it's the same as cash. It's a great way to buy something you need without waiting until you save the cash. I got a refrigerator and washer/dryer on credit and paid it off in 12 months so it was treated same as cash.
I use a credit card a lot, then pay the bill off as soon as it comes. It helps me to build good credit.
At 20 years old, my credit is excellent because i've been doing that since i got it at the age of 18 ^_^
With good credit One can get loans and get payment plans on things :)
Using a credit card can be safer than carrying large amounts of cash. I only use mine for large purchases, and pay the balance in full each month so I don't have to pay interest.
Buy at the beginning of your billing cycle, and pay in full when the bill comes. It's a 30 day interest free loan.
because when i go to buy a car or house the use of credit and managing it wisely gets me the lowest loan rate. credit is not bat it is misuse of credit that gets people into trouble.
i also use the same as cash sales and pay off in time at 0 apr. this builds a credit rating fast and lets my money work harder for me !
