those two men are very lucky. had this happened on my property they would be worm food.
it seems many fellow hoosiers are not aware of this rightious law.

The law states you have a right to defend yourself.
In the situation you described, you are well within your rights to do what you did.
Did the robbers have weapons? if so, this further gives you a defense to protect yourself.
