Question

Help answer this question below.

My ford ranger will not start and there is a small red wire that is dangling around the starter. Where does it go? This happened before and I had to call a wrecker and he just hooked it back up but I am trying to avoid another $75 bill. Thanks

It connects to your starter solenoid. The cyndrical thing that attaches to the starter. Look at the rear of the solenoid and you will see where it was attached. Take the nut loose and reattach. Mr Bill
