Disabling the headlights for your neighbor's benefit is a nice thought, but it's a dangerous idea overall.
Mechanical devices FAIL, and usually at the worst possible time.
Here's a better idea: Talk to your neighbor. Express your appreciation for his approach to the situation; tell him you'll try to remember to do the same for him. Then, just do your best to remember.
Anything short of total disabling isn't gonna cut it.
any certified GM techs feel free to enlighten.

Simply back in your drive way every other day,that way your not so blinding all the time.

You're reading My neighbors house gets showered by our headlights,his whole house is lit-up when we come out.He always comes out parking lights only and I want to do the same. I HATE THIS CRAP.The headlights don't need to come on automatically,someone PLEASE give advice
