I'm a co-signer on a leased car. Me and my boyfriend broke up and I've been paying the monthly notes. He is trying to voluntary surender the car can he do that if I have the car and paying the monthly car payments.

    Best advice I can give:look it up in the small print on the loan you cosigned.

    I think if you talk to the bank you can get it put in your name so it wont go bad against your credit

    yeah! being a cosigner means if he defaults on the payments (stops paying) you will pay, when you signed that what you promised!
