I think it crosses their mind, but they'll never know unless they date the girl and see if she does keep them from their friends. I think a guy needs to have time with his friends, but he should spend a little more time with his girl, cause you can't marry your friends, but you can marry the girl.

of course. And this often causes conflict in the relationship. With the single buddies especially. They'll come over expecting their friend to be the same ol buddy and will entice him. If that doesn't work they will challenge him. They'll say: "you're Pussy Whipped". It might not work in a new relationship but once it's established it often does.

A self-assured man wouldn't worry about that.

I'm speaking as a mom here. Some gals and some guys get extremely possessive and want to keep the new "love" all to themselves. That is a big mistake. Hard as it is to accept..girlfriends enter and leave your life..boyfriends enter and leave your life..true friends are there forever. It is unrealistic to expect your new boyfriend/girlfriend to drop everyone else just because you're available. It is healthy to maintain those prior relationships and shortsighted and very selfish to get annoyed when your new love wants to spend time with his/her friends. Just a Mom's opinion! :)

I think a lot of guys have some concern about this, because a lot of women do this. They don't understand that time separate from their partner is important, whether it is spent by themselves or with their guy friends. A person should not give up all of themselves when they become involved with someone. It rarely works out well.
