We own a SuperScan TV purchased at SEARS, we have attempted to use the Dish NEtwork second remote but Dish Network cannot locate the Remote Access codes because SuperScan does not release them? Does anyone know the remote access codes for the superscan TV

If the device code for your device is not listed in the tables, follow these procedures for the DishNetwork remote to automatically find your code.
    1. Turn on the TV.
    2. Press and hold the mode button until all the other mode buttons light up, and then let go of the button.
    3. Press the * (star) button.
    4. Press the POWER button.
    5. Press the (either up or) down arrow button repeatedly, somewhat slowly, until the device turns off. (This may be more than 100 times but do not go so fast that you do not see the TV turn off at any particular point.)
    6. Press the POUND (#) button.
    7. Turn the device back on and try some other buttons to make sure they work. If not:

    8. Repeat this procedure until you've tried all the codes that operate all the functions.

To check what the code is:
    1. Press and hold the mode button until all the other mode buttons light up, and then let go of the button. The mode button flashes.
    2. Press the POUND (#) button twice. Watch the mode light to determine your code. The mode button flashes the number for each digit of the device code, with a pause between the groups of flashes. A quick flash is for zero.
(For example, if the code is 570, the mode button flashes five times, pauses, flashes seven times, pauses and flashes once quickly.)

Sears will bait and switch a superscan with any and every name brand TV that is purchased that blanks out. They will sell you a Sony the craps out in 2 weeks then give you a superscan to replace it. You are so tired at that point of the trouble and glad to have a TV, that you don't push the issue.

Then your Crapper Scan starts giving green pixels, nver codes and universal remotes and you can't sell it because you now own a no brand.
