Question

Help answer this question below.

Can you sing "in tune" (verified by other singers who you feel told you the truth!) or are you not blessed with that ability? If you do sing on tune, (or even not) do/did you sing at church, or in a school chorus or anything?

I sang in the local church choir until about age 12. Then I decided that was not "cool." I have sung with friends and to the radio over the years, at parties and when I had abit too much to drink. I've been told I have a voice that is not too hard on the ears and since doesn't break glass, so I guess I sing in tune!

I got sacked from the choir at school, and its a voluntary thing. Enough said.

I sing to my own tune, the tune of 'cat being murdered brutally'

So no, I can't sing in what people define as 'tune'.

Yes, I sing in tune, and have sung in choirs and choruses and a child. In high school I sang in a rock and roll band. As an adult, I just sing in the shower (where I sound wonderful!) and to the radio or CD's off and on. I enjoy singing.

Yes. I was in several musicals, a choir and a few classes at my local University which helped develop this ability.

I can sing in tune to a point, but I'm not that great, I need to practise. I used to sing in my school choir.

Yes, but I can't do high notes without going into coughing fits. I tried joining the choir at school but the rest of the girls sung a lot higher than I did and they didn't really know what to do with me so I didn't last long.

I can and do sing in tune. I can sing well on my good days. I am asthmatic with severe food allergies which causes reflux some days and reflux really affects the voice. On my bad days, I can't breathe where I should (I can't make it to the rest in the music) or my voice cracks. My health is also not dependable and I don't want to let the choir down.

I sing off-key. I sound as if I am riding on the back of a motorcycle and my voice is shaky from the wind. I am asked to stop singing when I decide to bust out in song around friends.. which makes me sing louder =P
The worst thing is for someone to turn down the music real quick while I am singing and I have to hear myself and how badly I am butchering the song I am singing.

Yes, but I've found it is easier to sing in tune if I am in familiar surroundings and/or with people I'm comfortable with.

    I can sing on tune.

I've sung for various assemblies, events, stuff like that. I've sung in a choir for about seven years, and I sing every now and then for little things. I've sung at a hall once. Nothing big.

When I was quit young I found that my singing voice was really good and I started to use it in public...school plays I can hit really high notes its crazy!. I hit all the right notes sometimes I feel like a goody two shoes for it I enjoy being in the spot light on the stage it excites me to the limits. My voice sounds great with Hilary Duff's music who knows I might in sing in bars when Im older! LOLS!
