Walking around the tarmac of an airport as a graveyard shift security guard. No offense to professional security people here. I was not that. I was just someone walking around with a hat that was too big for my head and no possibility of saving any of those planes if someone tried to steal them :)
However, I was very grateful for the job when I was in grad school and had a lot of time to flip through my Hebrew vocabulary and conjugation cards ...
And to fantasize about my dream job ...
and life ....

A data entry job I had in high school for a mail-order catalog company. I just sat there typing order info into the system all day.
What really drove me nuts, though, was when we did the batches of phone-in orders. Customers could call in their orders and an agent would fill out a form by hand with the same information as the form that got mailed in the catalog. Then we'd type the order into the system.
I did ask why they didn't just have the agents type the orders in. No one knew.
