Help answer this question below.

I have installed my XP in 'C' drive and VISTA in 'F' drive and now i have formatted the 'F' drive.but still while my system boots it prompts to choose "Earlier version of windows" ( XP)and "windows vista".now how can i get rid of vista from my boot screen

    Disclaimer, I'm no PC expert.

    The boot loader will, I assume, install to the boot sector on your primary drive, e.g. your C drive.
    I assume you have to remove the boot loader from there to just have xp boot by default - but I don't know how. Google 'removing windows boot loader' perhaps?
