Why does Budget Rental Truck charge more than double for a last minute booking? It does not appear that U-Haul operates this way. Do you think they lose a lot of business to the competition because of this practice employed by hotels and airlines?

    Both Budget and Uhaul charge based on availability, distance, and how many trucks are being moved to and/or from the source and destination cities.
