Visit the Owl purdue website, they have some great links that will help you properly cite your sources if you do not have an MLA Handbook (which reads like stereo instructions)
For college, I was told my english professor that wikipedia is not reliable because anybody can get on and make things up.
Im sure if you google your topic, you can get ideas. But wikipedia is no good. I got a dropped letter grade for using it
I believe various college use different methods for bibliographies. I say check your english manual, assuming you have one or can get one that is specifically designed for the classes you are taking. As to wikipedia articles, they won't hold water. Just saying!
Don't site wikipedia. If you are relying on wikipedia for your information, you have not looked at the topic in-depth enough, for starters. Even if that's where you first read it, go and find a book or article on your topic that mentions it and reference THAT.
I have heard of students receiving automatic fails for otherwise stellar essays, due to the word "wikipedia" appearing in their reference list.
