My Sony DVD player occasionally will switch from normal color to red & green. What could be causing this?

Check the connections on the back of your DVD player - my parents had this same thing happen with their Sony DVD Dream Machine and it was as a result of a plug not being pushed all the way in (I think it was the Yr or Yb inputs).

Once the connections were all in, everything worked fine (no more green).
