I would look into another daycare. My son has been in day care since he was two, and he did the typical crying when I left him at first, but he's always playing and having a good time when I pick him up. Do some google/yahoo/yellow pages searches of the day care center to see if there are any parent reviews, you might find out some things you didn't realize before.

gosh, get your kid out of there.Usually children at that age are kinda "tired"of their parents and enjoy time with other kids/adults/toys.He's miserable, might get bullied. The teacher will tell you he's fine... he maybe needs more than the average attention every kid gets.

Is just normal they want to go home, when other kids are leaving, my kids were always waiting for me, and they were in the best daycare ever; licensed and supervised by the goverment, the teachers wonderful, but at the end of the day, they were tired and getting hungry for dinner, sometimes they don't eat that much at daycares and want to go home for their comfy dinner. I would wait and ask more to the child, If he had fun, and what they did during day time.
